Reports of Pets' Sickness and Deaths Follow Recall of Hill's Pet Food

On the heels of several other pet food companies' recalls for the same reason, Hill's pet food brand that sells its pet foods through retailers and veterinarians as prescription pet food recently announced a recall of its pet foods for an excessive amount of vitamin D. Unfortunately, many vets and pet owners have reported that the recall has come too late after many pets have become sick or died after consuming the tainted pet food. Hill's is blaming a supplier formulation error.
