Christina Hendricks a Blonde UK Watchdog Says Nice N' Easy Not So Fast

The UK's Advertising Standards Authority has banned an advertisement featuring the famous redheaded actress, Christina Hendricks, who purportedly uses Procter & Gamble’s Nice ‘n Easy hair dye to transform to a blonde. The UK agency found the commercial misleading after receiving complaints from professional hair colorists who said there was no way Hendricks’ bright red hair could have been converted to the “natural honey blonde” shown in the ad using only the Nice ‘n Easy product being advertised. The company admitted that the color transformation was performed in reverse and that it dyed the actress’s hair blonde first, and then dyed it the next day to “natural light auburn” to get the “before” footage.
