SEC Busts Traders For Stock Manipulation

The Securities and Exchange Commission charged two New Jersey-based traders, Joseph Taub and Elazar Shmalo, with manipulating more than 2,000 NYSE- and NASDAQ-traded stocks through dozens of accounts at various brokerage firms to avoid detection and artifically drive up or down the price of the stock for their personal benefit.
