Dish Ordered to Pay $28m for Telemarketing

After a trial, a federal court has found Dish liable for violating the Do Not Call list in making telemarketing calls in claims brought by the federal government and the states of California, Illinois, North Carolina and Ohio. The Court ordered Dish to pay $28 million in penalties and bars it from misconduct.
